What’s your next project?
I am currently working on book 2 in the Blood Bound Series (currently named Made By Design), which is moving quickly through my revision process. I plan to have the revision completed and have it edited, proofread, and ready to publish in 2014. The last books in the series will follow, and once they’re published I have a psychological thriller that I’m dying to start writing.
What would you love to produce in your life?
I would love to produce as many original and inspired stories that I can and reach as many people with my writing as possible.
What’s the reason for your life? Have you figured out your reason for being here yet?
I believe my life and the hard times I have been through have given me the depth and experience to touch other people’s lives through the written word. With grown confidence and understanding, I’m at a point in my life that I want to help others and give back. This goes beyond just writing and putting something out there. I want to help people, whether it’s other writers who need advice with anything from writing to publishing, to everyday people who have been through hard times and can relate to my hard life experiences. I hope the honesty in my author blogs achieves this and provides a place for people to let their demons out, or even just to connect with me privately. http://bloodboundnovels.com/blog/
How do you feel about self-publishing?
I think it’s amazing that writers now have the opportunity to take publishing into their own hands. Gone are the days of needing an editor or contacting publishing agencies first hand to have your dream of being published a reality.
Do you know your neighbors?
I am honestly a bit of a hermit. I live indoors and venture out only on weekends with my husband and son. I’m one of those people who detests drop-ins, and being an introvert have never been good at making new and fast face-to-face connections. I am getting better though, and when we move in the new year to the place we plan to live for years, I will be making an effort to get to know all our close neighbours.
